Earlier this week, the company issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wegmans.com\/news-media\/product-recalls\/wegmans-deluxe-mixed-nuts-multiple-varieties\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.wegmans.com\/news-media\/product-recalls\/wegmans-deluxe-mixed-nuts-multiple-varieties\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"recall\" data-node-id=\"2.5\" class=\"body-link css-1i7jlb0 emevuu60\">recall<\/a> on multiple varieties of its mixed nuts.  <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"3\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">While the notice did not provide how the products were exposed to <em data-node-id=\"3.1\">Salmonella<\/em>, it is advised to take the recall seriously. According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/food\/foodborne-pathogens\/salmonella-salmonellosis\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/food\/foodborne-pathogens\/salmonella-salmonellosis\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"FDA\" data-node-id=\"3.3\" class=\"body-link css-1i7jlb0 emevuu60\">FDA<\/a>, <em data-node-id=\"3.5\">Salmonella<\/em> can spread when food handlers do not properly wash their hands or when surfaces and tools used for food preparation aren&#8217;t cleaned correctly. Symptoms typically develop 12 to 72 hours after infection and can include fever, cramps, and diarrhea; more serious infections can even lead to death. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"4\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">The affected products include Wegmans Deluxe Unsalted Mixed Nuts sold in a 34-ounce family pack that has the UPC code 0-77890-42131-4, Lot number DC 58041, and a best-by date of July 28, 2026, as well as Wegmans Deluxe Unsalted Mixed Nuts in a 11.5-ounce containers that contains the UPC code 0-77890-42135-2, Lot number DC 58171, and a best-by date of August 10, 2026.   <\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"watch-next\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-15\" data-node-id=\"5\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"6\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Customers should not consume the recalled products.
