In a one-of-a-kind collaboration, beloved chain Panda Express has teamed up with luxury chocolatier Compart\u00e9s on a limited-edition chocolate bar collection inspired by the chain’s most iconic dishes. <\/p>\n
Before you scratch your head, hear me out\u2014I tried every bar in the collection and was happily surprised. If you have a chocolate lover on your gift list this season, this indulgent lineup is worth the splurge. Available now for a limited time on Compart\u00e9s’ website, the collection features four creative flavors. <\/p>\n
Kung Pao Bar<\/h2>\n

Those spices truly put the pow<\/em> in Kung Pao: the chocolate lulls you into a false sense of security, then the chili peppers light up your mouth for a very spicy bite. It wasn’t our team’s favorite, but it will definitely wake up your taste buds. <\/p>\n

You can detect some warm spice notes, and the candied walnut gives it a holiday-like vibe. While I wouldn’t turn down another bite of this, it didn’t stand out quite as much as the others. <\/p>\n

It happened to be an unexpected team favorite. The milk chocolate is luxurious and creamy, and the orange flavor is well-balanced\u2014not too subtle and doesn’t hit you over the head with citrus. The texture of crispy rice was pleasant and nods cleverly to the OG Orange Chicken dish. <\/p>\n
Fortune Cookie Bar<\/h2>\n

It’s the only dessert-inspired bar, so the flavors already go well together\u2014and there’s a fortune inside the packaging, too! My only caveat is that I wish this came in milk and<\/em> dark chocolate as well. <\/p>\n
The four-bar set retails for $49,95, and each bar is sold individually for $11.95. As an added bonus, on National Comfort Food Day\u2014December 5\u2014Panda Express customers will receive a free Fortune Cookie Bar with the purchase of a Panda Express Plate at participating locations. If you ask me, that’s reason enough to get some takeout for dinner. <\/p>\n
