Earlier this month, former athlete David Beckham threw his hat into the culinary ring with the launch of BEEUP, a new brand of fruit gummies. Inspired by his love of beekeeping, Beckham’s new, better-for-you honey-infused gummies offer both children and adults a different way to snack. BEEUP gummies are fortified with vitamins A, C, and E, providing up to 45% of the recommended daily value per serving, and derive most of their sweetness from honey instead of corn syrup.

Additionally, BEEUP snacks are non-GMO, gluten-free, and contain no artificial colors or flavors. Beckham created the snack to provide kids with a better source of energy by using honey as the main ingredient—a difference you can taste.

The gummies, which come in three flavors—Very Berry, Tropical Mix, and Sour Watermelon—have a discernible honey flavor. Among the trio, the Tropical Mix is hands down my favorite. These gummies have a firmer texture than your average fruit gummy—as one Delish editor stated, “They’re like a gummy for adults.”

Based on my experience testing out Tom Brady’s GOAT Gummies earlier this month, I expected the Sour Watermelon to be my favorite flavor. But the BEEUP versions appear to be coated in sugar rather than a sour mix, leaving me wanting more, even though the artificial watermelon flavor does scream “childhood.”

Lastly, the Very Berry is a good, classic gummy, but it just didn’t excite me like the Tropical Mix. If you’re deciding between which flavor to snag, don your Hawaiian shirt and grab a box of the tropics.
