All Of The Heartfelt Celebrity Reactions To Chef Anne Burrell’s Passing So Far

Carson Kressley shared a heartfelt tribute to the chef on his Instagram, stating, “I’m so blessed I was able to work with you, learn from you, laugh with you. So many memories— on screen and off—I cherish this photo of us living our best lives, as the kids say… Good food, good friends and lots of love and laughter all around. That’s what I wish for you where you are now. I’ll see you again someday, dear friend.”

He also commented on Food Network’s social media post, “So sad and shocked to hear this news. We had just chatted on Friday. Godspeed my dear friend. I love you.”

Fellow Food Network host and chef Carla Hall shared, “I absolutely loved working with Anne on Worst Cooks in America. She was a fierce chef and instructor—rocking her custom skirts, mismatched socks, and that unforgettable big smile. Anne, you brought so much heart and heat to every kitchen. You. Will. Be. Missed.”

In an Instagram story, model Gigi Hadid, who guest starred on Beat Bobby Flay alongside Burrell, shared, “I am heartbroken to hear of the loss of the Great Anne Burrell. As a longtime fan, getting to share this day with her was a dream come true. Beat Bobby. Hang. Eat. I wish we could have done it again. She was awesome. Rest in Peace Legend.”

Food Network host Aarti Sequeira also shared some stories of her time with Anne. “Anne was a tough but invested teacher, who thought enough about a newbie to the game to give it to her straight,” she wrote on Instagram. “Ever since, she always greeted me with warmth, joy, and that trademark big laugh… my heart would beat faster because I was a huge fan of her cooking show, the way she really thought of ways to TEACH cooking techniques. Anne, we will miss you dearly.”

They say things you do for yourself will be gone when you’re gone… but things you do for others will remain as your legacy forever. Chef Anne Burrell you left us with so much…..thank you for your contributions to the culinary world and the lives you touched with your infectious personality. Forever in our hearts,” she wrote.
