It’s never fun when a favorite menu item is discontinued. Earlier this year, 13 beverages left Starbucks’ menus. But the coffee chain has decided to bring back a fan-favorite treat. Before you start thinking it’s the Java Chip Frappuccino, just know the returning item is not a drink. It’s a sweet treat in the bakery case: the Double Chocolate Brownie.
Starbucks shared the news in a video on Instagram video and fans were quick to share their excitement of the brownie’s return.
“The best return in history,” one Instagram user commented about the brownie.
Another fan shared a story about the dessert: “When I was pregnant with my son this is all I wanted the first few weeks. The brownie has a special place in my heart.”
“My favorite brownie is back, sooo happy,” wrote another fan.
Others chimed in about how well the Double Chocolate Brownie pairs with drinks. “Pairs well with the Verona blend or a glass of milk.”
Aside from the return of the brownie, Starbucks has recently launched its summer menu with the new Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and returning Summer-Berry Lemonade Refresher and Summer Skies Drink. The coffee chain is also testing a new protein cold foam.
