We are officially in the age of the celebrity look-alike. Across the country, contests are being held to uncover some of the best celebrity doppelgänger, and the results have been pretty impressive so far.
Most recently, dozens of people flocked to Chicago’s Humboldt Park to take part in a look-alike contest for Jeremy Allen White, the actor who plays Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto on The Bear. A 37-year-old mental health therapist took home the honor of “Best Carmy” and walked away with a grand prize of 50 bucks.
And now, another celeb has become the victim focal point of a new look-alike contest.
In an announcement made on social media earlier this week, Hell’s Kitchen restaurants revealed that it would be holding a Gordon Ramsay look-alike contest at its Caesars Palace location in Las Vegas this Saturday (November 23) at 1 P.M.
“Be there, looking your Gordon-best,” read the caption to Hell’s Kitchen’s Instagram post.
Ramsay responded to news of the contest in the most Gordon Ramsay way ever, writing “You’ve got to be kidding me…”
“We’ll bring the lamb sauce,” Caesars Palace chimed in.
The winner of the Gordon Ramsay look-alike contest will take home a HexClad Everything But The Kitchen Sink Bundle, so they can channel their inner celebrity chef in the comfort of their own home. With a retail value of $2,799, the bundle includes an assortment of pans, pots, knives, and other kitchen tools.
Although this is a look-alike contest, we think they should host at least need an Omelette Showdown or a Chicken Piccata Challenge to make a real determination on the best Gordon doppelgänger.
