Delta’s Biscoff cookies are about to get some tough competition thanks to new addition on select flights. The airline recently announced many new in-flight food items, and one of them is a popular fast food burger.

Beginning December 1, Delta customers flying out of Boston will be able to pre-select a Shake Shack cheeseburger as their meal option. You may have to put those SkyMiles to good use because the cheeseburger is only available to customers sitting in first class on routes over 900 miles.

When you order the Shake Shack cheeseburger meal on your flight, you’ll also receive chips, a Caesar salad, and a dark chocolate brownie.

For Delta, burgers are already a hot commodity on flights, so partnering with Shake Shack was a no-brainer.

“Our partnership with Shake Shack goes beyond the burger. Shake Shack’s people-first culture and commitment to enriching their neighborhoods are spot on with our own brand values of service excellence and helping the communities we serve,” said Stephanie Laster, Managing Director of Onboard Service at Delta.

Although the Shake Shack Cheeseburger meal will only be available on flights out of Boston for the time being, Delta customers can expect a bigger roll out to other U.S. markets in 2025.
