I’m going to make a bold claim: SpongeBob Squarepants is the preeminent childhood cartoon. Everyone’s favorite talking sponge has been a pop culture fixture for 14 seasons of television, three films, many video games, and even a Broadway musical. There’s so much to love about the series, including the world-famous Krabby Patty.

The only taste we have been able to get of the burger has been in the form of novelty gummy candy…until now. In honor of the show’s 25th anniversary, Wendy’s is partnering with Paramount to launch a limited-edition Krabby Patty Kollab menu. This special offering includes two special items inspired by the ocean’s most iconic fry cook.

The Krabby Patty Kollab burger is similar to the chain’s classic Dave’s Single, but there’s an important twist. Instead of ketchup and mayo, the bun is smeared with a Krabby Patty Kollab sauce. And if you want to channel your inner Plankton and try to figure out what’s in it, nice try—it’s a secret recipe.

But as a self-proclaimed burger connoisseur, I can say it’s not far off from other fast food secret sauces. It’s less sweet than the ones from In-N-Out or Shake Shack. By contrast, the Krabby Patty Kollab sauce leans more peppery and savory—a flavor profile that I honestly prefer for a burger.

The Krabby Patty Kollab menu also comes with a new Frosty flavor. The Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty starts with a vanilla base that’s swirled with pineapple- and mango-flavored puree.

The pineapple might be the more SpongeBob-appropriate fruit in this blend, but mango is the dominant flavor by far. The creamy-fruity flavor combination tastes kind of like an Orange Creamsicle if it went on a tropical vacation. I wouldn’t want to dip a fry in it like I would with a classic vanilla or chocolate Frosty. But it’s still a nice summery sip that’ll get me through the chilly fall weather.

The Wendy’s Krabby Patty Kollab menu is available in the U.S., Canada, and Guam starting today. But you can only enjoy it for a limited time; so if you love SpongeBob as much as I do, run (don’t walk) to your nearest Wendy’s.
