Dessert lovers, rejoice! Philadelphia Cream Cheese is launching its first-ever cream cheese frosting, the company recently announced. Starting in October, Philadelphia Frosting will be available in 16-ounce tubs, featuring the product’s iconic original cream cheese flavor. It will be sold at select retailers nationwide for $4.99..

Crafted with fresh milk and real cream, Philadelphia claims its frosting will be the first refrigerated cream cheese frosting from a mainstream brand in the U.S. It aims to meet the demand for high-quality, easy-to-use frostings that are free from artificial flavors and dyes.

“Bringing the creamy deliciousness of Philadelphia to the frosting category just makes sense and it’s a great example of how we’re giving our fans new ways they can enjoy Philly in the kitchen,” said Becca Dunphey, President, Taste, Meals and Snacking at The Kraft Heinz Company, in a press statement.

She continued, “Our team has worked tirelessly to perfect a frosting recipe worthy of the Philadelphia name, and we are excited to bring this game changing innovation to market. With Philadelphia Frosting, consumers don’t need to compromise on taste or convenience, they can be confident that they’re getting the delicious Philadelphia experience every time.”

Over on Instagram, fans are buzzing about the announcement, with one user declaring, “🥹 they’ve heard our cry!”
